How Krepling partners with agencies: A GTM strategy

Krepling is the world’s first composable, no-code, platform built for e-commerce. Simply put, merchants choose to build their e-commerce stack on Krepling to be able to reach customers more effectively using clicks instead of code.
We’ve made enormous strides to quickly becoming one of the fastest and most prominent no-code enablers in the e-commerce space. We listen to merchants and have built an infrastructure that lends the degree of flexibility merchants need in order to reach their customers beyond just a simple web store.
Some important things to know
Krepling is 100% agnostic
Our platform’s unique functionalities provide us with a complete and holistic overview of our merchant’s commerce ecosystem. However, knowing this, we choose to remain unbiased when it comes to both integration and agency partnerships, allowing our merchants to pick and choose who and what they want to work with. This is core to the trust they put in us.
Such a high-level overview also lets us look ahead into the future. We try to predict a merchant’s needs on what they’re using today and work with agencies to help their clients grow. We also take into account new integrations and services on the market, as well as growing commerce trends to help our partners better serve their clients.
Today, merchants need more than simply ‘enablement’
As the e-commerce space continues to expand at lightning speeds, new and improved APIs and services are popping up all the time, and no individual solution can solve all the merchant’s problems or cover all needs.
To solve this, merchants are often heading to headless solutions or are trying to add the integrations they want independently. Merchants are thus forced to tackle complex integrations, testing, and maintenance, all of which is incredibly inflexible and time-consuming – even for a full-stack engineering team.
Expanding your e-commerce stack is not easy
Merchants typically build and expand their e-commerce stack in order to optimize for cost, reach customers across multiple mediums, send texts and emails, create newsletters, handle complex marketing operations, improve conversions, offer more payment solutions, expand to new markets and avail the most relevant buying options to their customers, and that’s really just the low-hanging fruit.
However, the current world of e-commerce is simply not set up, nor incentivized, to lend this degree of flexibility that brands and entrepreneurs really need. Building your store and integrating with the right tools is often more complex than it should be, and that is because e-commerce integrations are often tightly-coupled to individual e-commerce services.
Krepling is the world’s first and only commerce platform attacking these issues head-on in the form of no-code, and we’ve hit hypergrowth by being able to do it. So how exactly are we solving these problems?
Combining integrations and automations
We’ve unbundled and rebuilt the e-commerce stack. We’re allowing merchants to integrate with tools and automate every workflow and consumer channel with clicks instead of code.
Krepling integrations are third-party products and APIs that exist across the e-commerce integrations and services stack, and beyond. These include newseltter tools, email marketing tools, abandon cart recoveries, logistical tools, shipping integrations, loyalty and rewards platforms, distribution software, accounting software… and can even include non-commerce specific tools such as Slack, Klaviyo, Twilio, etc.
With Krepling, merchants can now use the very best products and services from across the web to construct their ideal e-commerce stack, and our platform makes this totally seamless no matter how complex a merchant’s store may be.
How Krepling partners with agencies
There are a couple of key components to how Krepling works and engages with agencies.
1. You own the commercial relationship with the merchant
Our merchants use Krepling as the underlying enablement infrastructure for their entire e-commerce stack. We partner with agencies to help give their merchants better access to an improved e-commerce stack and to allow them to expand it without the hassle of development. Meaning, the individual agencies handle the deployment and management of the merchant.
Every merchant still comercially onboards and works with the agency they want to work with, and simply deploys their store on Krepling to further grow their business. Fees are paid directly to the agency as they usually would be. We don’t take any revenue share or refferal fees.
Krepling does not get in the way of a merchant’s relationship with the agency.
2. We dedicate resources to help you land Enterpise leads
We realize every agency is different, and every agency may have different wants and needs, which means we need to adapt accordingly. We allocate dedicated team members and resources to help you, migrate and attract larger Enterprise leads, for no additional fees. Krepling is built to power the merchants of today, our infrastructure is built to give them the flexibility they need to grow beyond $1b+.
3. No contracts & no obligations
It is not part of Krepling’s business model to tie agencies into lucrative contracts and minimal obligations/referral benchmarks. We add value to your portfolio and give your merchants a solution that will allow them to see long-term value, and in turn, give your agency a path to greater client relationships built on success, not fees. This ties into our ‘100% agnostic’ approach to working with agencies.
We don’t rope agencies into contracts and referral agreements.
3. We partner with virtually any type of agency under the sun
Any type of agency that is looking to better serve its merchants can partner with Krepling.
We work with many types of agencies across the board. From e-commerce-only agencies, brand management, SEO agencies, full-service digital marketing agencies, digital and PPC ad agencies, web design agencies, social media management, consultants, and more.
From the get-go, we onboard and work with partners individually by providing training, collateral, and anything else your team needs to educate merchants on working with Krepling.
